Self Storage Poetry

COVID-19 – A Poem

When Covid is over, what will I do?

With the jigsaws I bought to help me get through.

The games that I thought would keep me amused,

The puzzles and crosswords, some started, most unused.

Cook-books, DIY books, books of all kinds

Even one on abseiling! What went through my mind.

A bread maker, cake tins and a pot that cooks rice,

A slow cooker, an air fryer that I’ve only used twice.

Then Joe Wicks arrived to keep us all fit,

For the first couple of weeks I was right into it.

Bought an exercise bike and a rowing-machine.

Got saddle sore and sea-sick – cancelled routine.

So, the question is, what do I do now?

Who do I find who has the know-how?

To keep my stuff safe, I may need it some day!

But for the moment, I need it out of my way.

Louth Self Storage, a friend suggested,

I wanted somewhere that was tried and tested.

They have units of all shapes and sizes,

Clean and dry with no surprises.

Competitive rates, great customer service,

Go see for yourself, if a little nervous.

They’ll show you around, in a Covid safe way.

And talk you through it all on the day.

No pressure, no jargon, just facts, no gimmick.

They’ll keep my stuff safe until the next pandemic.
